The podiatry service in South Staffordshire is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated podiatrist to join our Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, a Keele University Teaching Trust.

This permanent post is full-time 37.5 hours per week, and would be a wonderful opportunity for a newly qualified podiatrist. You will be working with a team of podiatrists and podiatry assistants covering a population of approximately 250,000.

This post will be based within the Stafford area predominantly.

The successful applicant will be supported to work as an autonomous practitioner assessing; diagnosing; care planning; and adult patients with a multitude of clinical conditions. Our advanced practitioners in biomechanics, rehabilitation, rheumatology, diabetes & wound care provide expert help and advice and offer mentorship programs to all staff. The service works closely with district nursing teams, tissue viability nurses, consultant lead multidisciplinary clinics, allied health professionals and local integrated teams.

We are seeking a Podiatrist who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is able to work on their own as well as part of a team. A commitment to patient care to assist patients to achieve their potential is essential. You will be encouraged to take part in various CPD activities including clinical support, supportive supervision and in-house training during team meetings. The post holder should have the ability to travel around the district.
