The Digital Support Services Manager is responsible for the operation and delivery of the digital support services function, consisting of Service Desk, desktop / end-user devices, application delivery, 2nd line support, Business Support service and service-wide reporting and KPI on behalf of the Northern Devon Healthcare Trust (NDHT). This includes supporting the development of the technology infrastructure strategy; implementation of the strategy and on-going service management to ensure maximum service availability of clinical and business critical systems.

The post holder will have excellent knowledge of support structures related to both the delivery of staff facing digital services and hardware and software as part of the end user service catalogue, while being proficient with current expertise of service management processes and ITIL framework in particular. This role operates at a service manager level and therefore responsible for leading and managing an integrated team that drives the digital technology support service agenda. They will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of a number of technology-led strategies in conjunction with the Acting Head of Digital Infrastructure and the senior management team, whilst improving performance, reporting upon and maintaining efficiency of the current operational support service.

The working hours are: Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week.
