Permanent Full Time Posts (37.5 Hours per week)

We are looking to recruit passionate RMN nurses to our acute inpatient unit based in Doncaster. We have 45 beds distributed over 3 wards, including our 5 bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

We want to hire nurses who have a real understanding for the needs of this patient group who can bring innovation and change to our services. We see our services as a genuine specialism and are offering the opportunity for you to be part of this.

Joining our strong teams, you'll have the scope to share ideas and follow them through into innovative practice. Recent inspiring projects include nurses providing therapeutic group-work alongside our clinical psychologist, working alongside our patients using bespoke personalised behavioural support plans, and embedding the principles of the Safewards model to inform clinical practice. We are committed to providing an exceptional level of personal and professional development. We want our nurses to be able to deliver integrated care to improve the mental & physical wellbeing of everyone they work with. We have a strong team of senior nurse clinicians on the unit, headed by a nurse consultant and are in the process of recruiting B7 nurse practitioners to extend this team as we already have B6 clinical leads on each of our wards.

You must be a qualified RMN or in the final year of your RMN course. It is important that you have an understanding of multidisciplinary services and the challenges that face people with acute mental health issues. We want to hire staff who are passionate about mental health care, who believe in the recovery model and possess communications skills of the highest caliber. You want caring and compassionate practitioners who can uphold the dignity and safety of our patients, with a good understanding of risk assessment and management and how to operate within appropriate professional boundaries.
