We are pleased to be able to offer exciting opportunities for theatre practitioners in theatres at North Manchester. We are seeking experienced scrub practitioners along with a recovery practitioner to join our friendly team.


At North Manchester theatres we see staff health and wellbeing and career development as our underpinning drive in delivering excellent patient care. We place a strong emphasis on personal and professional development and there will be opportunities to undertake further courses in support of your on-going professional development and career progression. In addition we have an in house practice based education team to support your learning and training needs.

In return we are seeking professional, flexible, motivated and committed team members capable of delivering high quality, patient-focused care. We are a busy, progressive and varied department and within our theatres you will be required to work as part of a 24hr unit participating in on calls, weekend working and night duty.


We have 9 theatres and two obstetric theatres which undertake a wide range of specialities in both the elective and emergency settings. These include Orthopaedic Trauma, CEPOD, Max-Fax, Breast, General Surgery (including upper GI), Urology and Maternity. North Manchester is also undergoing a major redevelopment with the building of a new state of the art hospital which is planned to commence imminently.
