Post: Medical Secretary, Inpatients - Fixed Term for 12 Months

Base: North Lincolnshire Care Group, Great Oaks

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Secretary to join the Inpatients Team at Great Oaks to cover Maternity Leave for a 12 month period.

The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administrative services to the Ward Consultants and associated medical team. Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, planning and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative, as well as have experience of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience of minute taking and a pleasant telephone manner and a helpful flexible attitude is essential, as you will be dealing with patients, carers and visitors to the unit, as well as telephone calls and enquiries from the general public, patients, relatives and professional/clinical staff. Previous experience of working within a medical secretary environment is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will work with the admin team under the direction of the Admin Lead and Modern Matron to ensure that high standards are met and all data quality requirements are achieved and maintained.
