Senior Administration Assistant Band 3

To join our services we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Administration Assistants, who wants to participate and contribute to achieving excellent quality of care for our patients. In return for this commitment we will support and develop your potential and skills through regular supervision and development in this busy role within our friendly Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administration Assistant to join All Age Mental Health services (North locality) within the warm and friendly Doncaster Care Group. Successful applicants will be offered a full induction into the service and Trust. Supervision and PDR is offered regularly and the ethos is one of developing staff.

The successful applicants will be reliable and will work within the North Locality Admin hubs – delivering a high quality admin service to integrated community teams across physical and mental health. The role will include dealing with correspondence and the effective dissemination of information; facilitate service meetings, including minute taking, recording attendance and timely dissemination of agendas/papers. The successful applicants will also ensure the smooth running of the administration staff ensuring all areas are covered on a daily basis and regularly review work allocation systems with the Administration Lead/Team Leaders/Service Managers to ensure that the administration team works efficiently and effectively.

The successful applicants will possess RSA II Typing/Word Processing or equivalent; be educated to GCSE level (minimum 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths) or hold equivalent qualifications, will have demonstrable experience of working in a busy environment and workload management; be able to use a PC and standard software packages.

There may, at times, be a need to travel between various locations, it would be an advantage if the successful applicants are either car drivers or able to be independently mobile.
