Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is an integrated provider of acute, intermediate and community healthcare serving the population of Bolton. This provides us with an opportunity for our services to work closely with our partners in primary care and the local authority to ensure a seamless service for our patients.

As a Trust we are proud of our centre of excellence status in Family services and the 'Good' rating by the Quality Care Commission (CQC) for the Trust as a whole. This is a direct result and recognition of the positive patient experience and the high quality of care that our staff provide to patients.

The Acute Adult Care Division is one of four Clinical Divisions in the Trust that includes Emergency Care, Complex Care and Specialist Medicine. The Division contains the busiest single site Emergency Department in Greater Manchester and has inpatient wards providing acute medicine, rehabilitation and specialist medicine services. It provides a range of specialist out-patient and community services and is committed to providing excellent clinical performance and patient care.
