Would you like to join a multi disciplinary team that pride themselves on delivering the highest quality evidence based interventions. The Manchester Foundation Trust Community Eating Disorder Service (MFT CEDS) have an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to join our expanding team.

MFT CEDS is situated within the CAMHS CSU, who have recently been awarded CQC "outstanding" for the second time. We are under the management infrastructure of the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. Our team consists of child psychiatry, family therapy, eating disorder practitioners, dietitians, occupational therapy and child psychotherapy. We provide assessment and treatment for children and young people up to the age of 18 in Manchester, Salford and Trafford, who have a primary eating disorder. We additionally provide training and consultation to schools and other health care providers. We have a strong commitment to team development, staff well being and ongoing training for the whole team. our staff are trained in Family Based Therapy, Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa, Adolescent Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy , Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy & Acceptance Commitment Therapy.

Ours is a hub and spoke model, and as such our practitioners are able to see children, young people and their carers in the place that is most convenient for them. Our physical health hub is co-located with the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, and we have very close working relationships with our paediatric colleagues to ensure that the physical needs of our patients are addressed without delay. We also have a south hub which covers South Manchester & Trafford, and a North Hub which covers central Manchester, North Manchester & Salford.

The successful candidate would be responsible for managing a caseload of young people with primary eating difficulties, including providing intensive care packages, in-reach to pediatric wards, triaging referrals and providing high quality assessments. Regular clinical and management supervision will be provided, as well as regular academic CPD and Evidence based Practice joint learning sessions.
