Kettering General Hospital is recruiting for our ophthalmic department. We are seeking an exceptional Band 5 Staff Nurse now!

The Department consists of outpatient, ward and theatre environment. There are many opportunities to rotate around the department gaining expertise, skill and knowledge in Ophthalmic nursing practice. Our aim is to make a difference with the Trust values at the core of patient care. Do you want to make a difference to patient outcomes? The Ophthalmology team is looking for you! The ophthalmic Department is fast paced and requires dynamic and enthusiastic nurses to deliver high quality patient centered care. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given for the right candidate.

You will be fully supported by the department Sister and Deputy Sister’s ensuring patient safety and flow for an efficient service to our patients. Ophthalmology is a wonderful friendly team; we work and support each other as a team, and laugh together as a team.

This is an exciting time to join our department as we continue on our journey of service improvement, undergoing a range of service transformations and delivering high standards of care for our patients.

The unit is a day case unit working over a 7 day a week period.
