We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to join us as a Fire & Security Advisor. The role involves working as part of the NDHT professional Facilities team, ensuring that the Trust is compliant with regard to statutory and regulatory requirements and has a clear strategic strategy in relation to its Fire safety management, protection of property/assets and its managed estate services. This vacancy is for 37.5 hours per week.

To act as the initial point of contact for all Fire & Security matters for the Trust estate and to perform the role of Technical services Officer providing assurance for all Trust wide Estate services matters.

Providing specialist Fire Safety & Security Advice and Estate advice to clinical, managerial, facilities and consultants, working closely with specialists within Occupational health and Infection Control.

In conjunction with service users (clinicians, nurses, managers and ancillary staff) project manage the philosophy of complex infrastructures consisting of building services and their controls. Ensuring that best value is obtained to take into consideration budgetary and quality issues.

Ensuring safe practice to minimise the risks of infection to patients and staff in accordance with national and Trust policy, in particular to be aware of their responsibilities as listed in the Infection Control Operational Policy.
