We are one of the largest specialist mental health and learning disabilities trusts in the country, with an annual income of £320m and a workforce of some 6,700 staff operating from around 100 sites in Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and York and Selby. We provide a range inpatient and community services to 2m people living in County Durham, the Tees Valley, Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Harrogate, Hambleton and Richmondshire. We also provide additional specialist services to other parts of Northern England.

We deliver our services by working in partnership with eight local authorities and clinical commissioning groups, a wide range of voluntary organisations, as well as service users, their carers and the public. This is an exciting opportunity for a 4 qualified Children's Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to work in the Durham and Darlington CAMHS teams. The successful candidates will be based in either Winchesters House, Easington CAMHS, Acley Centre, South Durham CAMHS or North End House North Durham CAMHS .

We are keen to hear from suitably experienced, enthusiastic, qualified, and motivated individuals, who are focused on delivering high quality evidence based interventions with children and young people.

The successful applicant will work alongside a multi disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver a range of evidenced based psychological therapies via video, telephone, and in person, both individually and in groups. Working with the support and guidance of the Leadership Team, the successful applicant will be expected to assess, plan, and implement appropriate care for children with mental health needs, and provide support for their families.

All applicants must be a qualified Children's Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners. Please note that the qualification requirements of this role are specific, and those applications not meeting the specific qualification or training requirements will not be considered. The advertised positions are full time, and the successful applicants will be required to work full time hours across the opening hours of the service.
