Are you looking to join an amazing team delivering high quality care within an outpatient environment? We are looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated and forward thinking registered nurse who can provide patients with excellent care. The Main Outpatients Department is a very busy environment caring for patients in various specialties such as Surgery, Vascular, Nephrology, Urology, Colorectal, Breast and Respiratory.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring that the start of all of our patient’s journeys are positive ones and would love you to be a part of our team. Outpatients or specialty experience is preferable but not essential as the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their clinical skills. The post holder will be expected to develop knowledge and skills across all specialties and will assist in the management and organisation of nursing work in the department within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct. We offer a supportive and friendly environment and access to training and continuous professional development to enhance this role.

To become an active member of the multidisciplinary team by using professional judgement and assuming responsibility for assessing, implementing and evaluating clinical care for patients to meet their needs in a safe caring environment that promotes dignity, privacy and respect.

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the leadership development programme, and the Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. This programme aims to:-

Explore leadership within the NHS

Promote Trust Values and Behaviours

Develop your Leadership effectiveness and skills

Practitioner level in quality improvement, equipping you with the skills to champion, lead and complete quality improvement within your role

After you complete this four and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses dependent upon your role and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.
