We are looking to recruit a Band 7 service manager to work alongside our Podiatry Clinical Professional lead to provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care at our busy Podiatry service based in Barnstaple North Devon.

We are looking for applicants who display strong leadership qualities and are able to act as a role-model to staff across the service. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, with excellent communication and organisational skills, and experience of managing a demanding workload.

Proven IT skills and experience of managing a staff team including recruitment, training and supervision processes is essential. Experience of working in the NHS as a manager is desirable.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the podiatry administrative team and administrative function working as part of the Specialist Services divisional management team. It is essential that the post holder has a recognised qualification and experience in operational management as they will be responsible with the Clinical Professional Lead for the overall performance of the service,

This post is mainly based in Barnstaple; however the post-holder may be required to work across North Devon. They also need to work their hours flexibly Monday - Friday according to service needs.

This post is for 22.5 hours per week.
