Deputy Ward Manager (Band 6)

Mental Health Open Rehabilitation Inpatient Service

37.5 hours per week

Location: Doncaster

Emerald Lodge is a mental health open rehabilitation unit, and we are looking to recruit a Deputy Ward Manager. We are looking for a dynamic leader who has experience of working within the specialism of mental health rehabilitation.

The successful candidate will support a dedicated multi-professional team in providing high quality care for people with enduring & complex mental health needs. We want to hear from applicants with strong leadership skills to ensure that we provide evidence based best practice to the patient group, while supporting and motivating a team in a challenging clinical environment.

The unit works within specialist commissioning arrangements; and we require a professional who understands clinical commissioning policies and who can build and maintain effective relationships with key partners, including commissioners & key stakeholders.

We are committed to continuous learning to improve patient care and are looking for a professional who has up-to-date knowledge of underpinning drivers/legislation/research & experience of mental health rehabilitation.
