We are looking to recruit 1 Clinical Pharmacist, with the prescribing qualification, to be based at and work for Naseby Medical Centre

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join the team at Naseby Medical Centre to develop medicines optimisation services. You must have experience of working in a similar role in General Practice or prove you have the potential and right skill set to undertake the role.

The PCN comprises 9 General Practices and Naseby Medical Centre is one of these practices, working in conjunction with local health and social care organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of the local population. Washwood Heath is a Ward in Birmingham roughly two miles north-east of Birmingham city centre.

The successful candidate will have a patient facing role in managing long-term conditions; working directly with patients to assess and treat conditions, as well as promote self-care. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience of influencing others and conducting clinical medication reviews. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and run processes for repeat prescription re-authorisation, management of medicines on transfer of care and systems for safer prescribing. You need to have a genuine interest in improving patient outcomes, be able to work under pressure, without direct supervision, in a calm and professional manner.
