The Deputy Head of Clinical Hub is a key role in the Clinical Hub Leadership team and as such will be a role model for operational team members Reporting to the Head of Clinical Hub, the Deputy Head of Clinical Hub has operational responsibility for the efficient and effective day to day management and smooth running of the Clinical Hub. The Deputy Head of Clinical Hub will deputise for the Head of Clinical Hub and in their absence will assume full responsibility for the Clinical Hub.

A key part of this role is line management responsibility for the Clinical Hub Officers working within the Clinical Hub, ensuring a consistent and highly visible team is developed, with a strong ethos of high quality patient care and a positive & inclusive culture.

The Deputy Head of Clinical Hub will be responsible for assisting the Head of Clinical Hub in delivering high quality patient care provided by the Trust, being responsible for ensuring consistent operational working practices and joint working in conjunction with their Deputy Head of Clinical Hub counterparts, to make sure best practice is identified and implemented and that the ambition of “one virtual hub” is fully realised.

The assessment process will comprise of an online assessment week commencing 9th August. This will followed by an assessment centre on either 12th or 13th August. Please note the assessment centre will take place in Exeter.
