SENIOR STAFF NURSE, HOSPICE AT HOME TEAM

SALARY RANGE £29,524 TO £33,831 PER ANNUM PRO-RATA

30 HOURS PER WEEK - PERMANENT

Saint Francis Hospice is a dynamic, forward thinking organisation delivering specialist palliative care services in Havering, Brentwood, Redbridge and Barking & Dagenham. Our Hospice at Home Team is a team of Senior Staff Nurses and Health Care Assistants who provide hands on nursing, support and care to patients and their carers in their own home. The team supports patients in their last few weeks of life to enable them to remain at home if that is their wish.

We are currently looking to recruit into our dedicated Hospice at Home Team. This is an excellent opportunity for Staff Nurses with significant post registrationand palliative care experience who are interested in community.

If you are an avid and enthusiastic team worker, have excellent communication skills and are confident and able to work both unsupervised and flexibly we would be delighted to hear from you. The post holder should have the ability to travel efficiently and effectively across various locations within the hospice catchment area.

We in return will offer supervision, reflective practice, staff support, professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment. Transfer of NHS superannuation scheme or a private pension scheme is also available.

Saint Francis Hospice is a centre of excellence in the care of those with life limiting illnesses. Our team of specialist consultants, doctors, nurses and health care assistants provide practical and emotional support for adults of all ages and give specialist bereavement support to family members from as young as 20 months.
