The Long-Term Conditions pathway, part of the Children’s Care Group within RDaSH, are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Children’s Community Continence Service with a clear focus to support children and young people in the community to achieve their continence potential.

You will be part of an integrated team working alongside Children’s Specialisms (Children’s Community Nursing, Epilepsy, Special School Nursing, and TB). The service provides nursing intervention, support and advice relative to continence needs for to children, young people and families across the Doncaster Borough.

The Post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of their own time and caseload and will support and work under the guidance of the Specialist Continence Nurse. Part of this role would be to undertake, plan, provide and carry out holistic continence assessments of children and young people with continence needs such as Nocturnal Enuresis, Day Time Wetting and Constipation and Soiling.

Our ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (RSCN/RNC or RN/RNLD with continence experience) who has a passion for supporting and improving the lives of children, young people, and families with additional needs.

The successful candidate will join a highly experienced team within the Children’s Care Group and will be an effective team member who is committed to providing high quality care.

You will be fully supported in your role and have the opportunity to access continuous professional development and relevant training opportunities.

The current hours of operation are Mon - Fri between the hours of 9am - 5pm.
