Therapy Vacancies - New Urgent and Emergency Care Centre – Therapy Assistants Band 3

This is an exciting time to join our team as a new Urgent and Emergency Care Centre is being built and we are looking for enthusiastic Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and therapy assistants to join the new Unit. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is interested in being involved in working in a new service and/or models of working

The vision is to support patients to achieve ‘the right care, at the right place, at the right time’

You will work within the footprint of the new Urgent and Emergency Care Centre covering ED, assessment floor and frailty unit. There will be the opportunity to undertake some assessments in the patients own home as required, working closely with our community system partners.

There is an established formal supervision and appraisal process and robust in-house training programme within each specialist area, which provides opportunity to further develop your clinical and leadership skills to progress your career. Our department also offers dedicated time for personal development and service improvement.

The therapy cover will be provided 7 days a week, from 8am-10pm and you will be expected to support this on a rota basis. We will consider part time and flexible working applications.

Where to find us:

Our main sites are Ashford Hospital, TW15 3AA near to Heathrow Airport and St Peter’s Hospital, KT16 0RQ which is close to junction 11, M25. We also operate services at Woking Bradley Unit and Milford Hospital. A free shuttle bus service operates between Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals.
