Community Pharmacist Ambassador (Primary Care)

Contract Fixed term 24 months

3 days per week – can be discussed

Band 7

This is a unique opportunity to develop the Pharmacy workforce across Primary Care in Suffolk and North East Essex.

The post holder will be an experienced Pharmacist, ideally already working in Primary Care within a clinical role and have a passion to support the expansion of the role across General Practice. This includes supporting the expansion of student placements and on-going development opportunities for existing staff.

As part of the wider HEEoE Primary Care School you will work with colleagues regionally to share best practice and seek opportunities to work collaboratively to develop and support Primary Care workforce.

The post holder will support the Suffolk and North East Essex Training Hub to implement HEEoE Primary Care School Quality Framework to manage clinical students and Apprenticeship placements in the General Practice setting. To support co-ordination and quality management of education and training provision, support clinical placements for students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and provide leadership and effective role modelling for the delivery of team based high quality patient services.

This is a fixed term contract for 2 years.
