Return to Practice Nurse Band 3 ( AW Pin)

Overview

The return to Professional Practice for nursing programme will prepare you to be a part of todays nursing workforce, by providing a combination of Education and practice based learning. This will enable those who were Nurses previously, but whose registration has lapsed to return to practice with contemporary knowledge, skills and competences necessary in the present Healthcare climate

MSEFT in conjunction with Anglia Ruskin University ( See link below) are offering employment as a Band 3 whilst you complete the RTPP course. The course is fully funded .

Return to Professional Practice - ARU

To complete the programme you will be required to :

Be prepared to study.

Commit to working at MSEFT as a qualified nurse on successful completion of the programme.

Complete all required learning and study outcomes.

Undertake a minimum of 22.5 Hours each week in clinical placement at a Hospital within the MSE group.

Commit to a minimum of 150 Hours of assessed practice. In order to do this you will need to work flexibly to incorporate the 24 Hour service commitment & to allow you to work with your Practice supervisor /Assessor.

You will need to provide evidence of your statement of entry to the NMC register – please contact the NMC as soon as possible if you do not have this.

Main duties

Under the supervision of a Practice supervisor and Practice assessor provide a high standard of safe, evidenced based care to individual patients in a holistic manner. This will be delivered as part of a Multi-Disciplinary team approach in concultation with the patient.
