An exciting fixed term/secondment opportunity has arisen for a motivated, confident person to work as Booking (e-Referral system) and Patient Access Support Manager within the Healthcare Analytics and Reporting Team (HART).

The position requires that you work both on site in Barnstaple and from home. The post holder will also network with a wide range of Trust staff at all levels and may be required to attend meetings on other Trust sites or with colleagues elsewhere within Devon.

A key element of the role is the management and development of the e-Referral System (e-RS) so experience with e-RS is preferred, but not essential. Other responsibilities include management of Envoy the Trust’s appointment reminder system and working with clinical and non-clinical staff in developing and implementing new processes in elective care to facilitate and implement change in practice. This will be done in conjunction with divisional teams and will comprise activities such as process mapping, co-creating standard operating procedures and training.

As such the post holder is required to have experience of the elective care pathway, be proficient in using TrakCare and have an aptitude for learning new IT systems. They will enjoy working flexibly under pressure in a small busy team, as well as working on their own initiative to achieve deadlines; with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. They should be educated to degree level or equivalent and be familiar with the MS Office suite of products, particularly excel.
