Dietitian

Are you new or recently qualified and looking for the opportunity to develop a broad base of dietetic skills in many specialist areas? If the answer is yes, then this post will certainly meet your needs!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Dietitian to join our team at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

You will be joining a team of dietitians, dietetic assistants and clerical support staff who currently provide a proactive, developing service across a range of specialities.

The post will be based at Warrington hospital. The post will offer you a range of clinical experience (general medicine, surgery, care of the elderly, neuro, orthopaedics etc). You will be providing a dietetic service to acute patients with the opportunity to cover outpatient clinics and group patient education sessions.

The team is actively involved in dietetic student training placements and there is scope for the successful candidate to contribute significantly in this.

The department offers excellent support for your professional development and you will be actively supported to engage in CPD and training.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
