Solent NHS Trust delivers the School Aged Immunisation Programme across 3 localities Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team, delivering a full programme across the school year around Portsmouth City. This will incorporate HPV vaccinations to Year 8 pupils, Men ACWY and TD/IPV to year 9 pupils, MMR catch up and the Flu programme from year R to Year 11.

This is a part time position for 24 hours per week and working patterns will be discussed at the interview. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly across localities during delivery of the immunisation programme when needed.

All applicants must hold a Registered Children’s Nurse or a Registered Nurse qualification and able to demonstrate relevant experience with children and young people. We are looking for a nurse who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to be part of our team. You must be organised, and able to work well independently, and with others within the team. Excellent communication skills are essential to support the collaborative working with education staff and other health care professionals.

Full training will be given. Car driver and owner are essential.
