Community Children’s Nurse – CCN West

Part Time: 18.75hr

Base Location: Stafford

Permanent Contract

The Community Children’s Nursing Service supports the care of children and young people with healthcare needs in the home and community environment, in order to reduce the need for hospitalisation. Our team provides a service in West Staffordshire, including Stafford, Stone, Cannock, Rugeley and surrounds.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 nurse to join the team, to a role which will not only provide them with experience in community working, but enable them to develop their clinical skills, communication skills and autonomy.

The successful applicant will require post registration experience in acute paediatric care. They will require the ability to work as part of a team, but also work autonomously and make appropriate decisions to manage their allocated caseload.

The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring delivery of services in accordance with our agreed service specification and Trust policies. They will be required to work 9-5 Monday to Friday and occasionally the possibility of on-call work as and when the caseload requires it.
