Sterile Services Technician | Theatre Support | £18,500 - £19,500 | Cambridge Lea | Full Time | Monday – Friday | 1 in 4 Saturdays

Spire Cambridge Lea are looking for a Sterile Service Technician to assist the multi-disciplinary theatre team to provide exemplary care in the TSSU department by cleaning, sterilising and packing theatre linen and instruments. Ensuring theatre instruments and consumables are correct and ready for use

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Checking correct instruments are on trays pre and post decontamination
  • Checking for functionality of instruments and alerting any discrepancies
  • Pack instruments/consumables for sterilisation
  • Complete accurately tracking systems
  • Monitor repairs of instruments
  • Checking functioning of sterilising and decontamination equipment according to manufactures instructions
  • Endoscopy decontamination
