Clinical Services - Womens and Childrens Health

Neonatal Unit

Staff Nurse - Part-time 23 hours per week

 

We are looking for a passionate Band 5 Staff Nurse who is qualified in speciality (Intensive care of the Newborn qualification) to join our working family. Relevant experience within a Neonatal unit is essential.

We are part of the Cheshire and Merseyside Network. We accept referrals from all networks as our location,close to the M56/M62/M6, makes us ideally situated for this.

Warrington and Halton NHS Foundation Trust’s Neonatal Unit provides medical care for newborn babies from 27 weeks gestation as well as sick newborn infants.

We are a local Level 2 Neonatal Unit. We have 18 cots, 3 ITU, 3HDU and 12 special care cots located in 2 rooms. We are currently undergoing exciting changes and developing a transitional care. We advocate Family integrated care and are moving towards accreditation staus. We are also working towards the baby friendly initiative and Bliss accreditation.
