Due to the expansion of the Trauma & Orthopaedic Unit a new 14 bedded Trauma & Orthopaedic Unit is to open for trauma and elective patients.

Duties for this post will include supporting the registered nursing teams in providing patient care, clinical duties such as assisting patients with personal hygiene needs, meeting patient’s nutritional needs and undertaking observations.

As a Healthcare Support Worker we can offer you:-

        • Support in achieving literacy and numeracy functional skills as needed

        • You will be required to work a range of shifts throughout the 24/7 working week including weekends and nights

This role is an essential part of the nursing team and requires someone who is reliable, caring and compassionate. Working with the multi-disciplinary team, you will need to have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and basic computer skills.

The team encourages staff to develop both clinically and personally and we provide a comprehensive induction programme and in-house training, with opportunities for future development.

Our main sites are Ashford Hospital, TW15 3AA near to Heathrow Airport and St Peter’s Hospital, KT16 0RQ which is close to junction 11, M25. We also operate services at Woking Bradley Unit and Milford Hospital. A free shuttle bus service operates between Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals.
