An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 experienced and enthusiastic Health Services Researchers to join Health Technology Wales (HTW), which is hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust within NHS Wales.

The purpose of HTW is to identify, appraise, promote, enable and measure the adoption of health technologies across NHS Wales, linking into national agendas for innovation and prudent healthcare. HTW is responsible for undertaking appraisals of the clinical and cost implications of non-medicine health technologies in Wales, working with, but independently of, NHS Wales.

We are seeking to recruit 2 Health Services Researchers to carry out rapid evidence reviews to inform the appraisal of non-medicine health technologies. The post holders will work in collaboration with expert reviewers and committees under the direction of the Senior Health Services Researcher and the HTW Director. The post holders will contribute their expertise as members of the evidence review team, which involves collaborating with both internal and external research staff and supporting capacity building in NHS Wales.

As well as an appropriate degree and specialist knowledge of literature searching and critical appraisal, you will have experience of evaluating evidence based projects and delivering work to support development of guidance on health interventions.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
