WARD MANAGER - BAND 7

Adult Mental Health Services are looking to recruit a full time 37.5hrs per week Ward Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a foreword thinking team. The ward is looking for an individual who will lead and continue to develop the team. The Individual will ideally have older adult experience. Mulberry ward is a 19 bed adult acute ward based in Great Oaks Hospital, Scunthorpe. The ward caters for patients who suffer from a range of functional mental illness.

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the ward and contribute to quality improvement initiatives & staff development. We want to hear from a registered health care professional with strong leadership skills & experience to ensure that we provide evidence based best practice to the patient group, while supporting and motivating a team in a challenging clinical environment.

We are committed to continuous learning to improve patient care and are looking for a professional who has up-to-date knowledge of underpinning drivers/legislation/research & experience of older adult acute mental health care.

We value passionate, resilient, forward thinking staff that have the vision to strengthen & develop the unit in line with national good practice guidance.

We are committed to the ethos of the recovery model promoting hope, optimism and innovative ways of working in partnership with patients and families.

We require an applicant that is passionate about co production and service user engagement.

The trust is keen to develop and support its staff. Regular supervision and annual PDR plans are offered.
