This is an exciting position working to improve the lives of Children and Families within Solent NHS Trust. Solent NHS Trust is rated by the most recent Care Quality Commission report as ‘Outstanding’ for care.

Acting as the strategic lead for the development, implementation and delivery of integrated locality teams within the Child and Family service line, the 0-19 Service & Quality Manager will be responsible for establishing core care pathways and service standards. They will ensure a safe and effective patient service is provided and under the supervision of the Operations Directors & Head of Service to manage the integrated clinical, operational, staffing, governance and financial performance associated with the service line.

The role will be responsible for the visible leadership of core staff groups within the service line and line management of Locality Managers.

The 0-19 Service & Quality Manager will support the Operations and Clinical Directors and translate the vision of integrated management into safe, effective and efficient service delivery. Using their leadership skills they will be a visible, accessible and professionally authoritative presence, providing leadership and supervision. The 0-19 Service & Quality Manager will participate fully in the development and implementation of the service line management and the implementation of robust governance models and new clinical systems. The 0-19 Service & Quality Manager is a member of the Children and Families senior leadership team.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership experience in a multi-agency environment and requires a strong clinical / professional background in either Nursing or as an Allied Healthcare Professional.
