To join our services we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Care Group Secretary, who wants to participate and contribute to achieving excellent quality of care for our patients. In return for this commitment we will support and develop your potential and skills through regular supervision and development in this these busy roles within our friendly Trust.

Opportunities have arisen for a Care Group Secretary to join a range of services across the warm and friendly Doncaster Care Group. The successful applicant will be offered a full induction into the service and Trust. Supervision and PDR is offered regularly and the ethos is one of developing staff.

The successful applicant will be reliable and provide an efficient, effective and confidential secretarial and administrative support service to the Care Group Service Managers. The successful applicant will be the initial liaison contact for staff, patients and other agencies; deal with correspondence and the effective dissemination of information; facilitate service meetings, including minute taking, recording attendance and timely dissemination of agendas/papers.

Successful applicants will possess RSA II Typing/Word Processing or equivalent; be educated to GCSE level (minimum 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths) or hold equivalent qualifications, will have demonstrable experience of working in a busy environment and workload management; be able to use a PC and standard software packages.

There may, at times, be a need to travel between various locations, it would be an advantage if the successful applicant has access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area.
