We have opportunities for Band 6 Speech and Language Therapists to work in schools, nurseries and clinics for a fixed period of 6 months. This would be suitable for experienced Band 5 therapists wishing to further develop their skills. Full time and part time hours are available.

Solent NHS trust is committed to working as an integrated team, within health, education, social care and others working with the child and family. We will offer you support to develop into the role through, regular clinical supervision and joint working, in-service training, away days, regular management supervision linked to appraisals and identifying learning / training needs with opportunities for Continued Professional Development.

Solent provides children’s therapy to children living across Hampshire including Portsmouth and Southampton cities and the team offers access to specialists in a variety of clinical areas. This post will based in the Portsmouth City and South East Hampshire locality.

We have a telephone advice line, a Schools Therapy Resource Pack, provide INSET training and receive excellent feedback from the Friends and Family Test.

Excellent communication skills and a passion for integrated working are vital. Own transport essential.
