Lancaster Medical Practice is a large, at-scale, GP provider delivering General Medical Services to around 65,000 patients in Lancaster and surrounding villages.

Formed in April 2017 from our successful, legacy practices, Lancaster Medical Practice has continued to evolve to become the strong, high performing Practice it is today, receiving a rating of ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission in August 2018.

We deliver our services from eight locations throughout the city of Lancaster and its surrounding area and are continuing to develop ourselves to improve what we do for our patients, staff and the local community.

First Contact Physiotherapist with Lancaster Medical Practice

Lancaster Medical Practice is looking for a First Contact Physiotherapist to join our multi disciplinary teams of GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists and Social Prescribers. The PCN has a large population of around 80,000 patients.

We are looking for a motivated individual who will be able to manage their own workload, work independently and build strong relationships across the practices. The successful candidate will also demonstrate good communication skills, with a flexible approach and good use of initiative.

Lancaster Medical Practice is open between 8am and 6.30pm Monday - Friday. Our extended hours provisions run from 6.30pm - 8pm Monday to Friday, and from 8am - 12noon on a Saturday at our Rosebank site.

As a team we are made up of a Lead Nurse Partner, ACPs (including a Paramedic, a Physiotherapist and 2 Mental Health Practitioners), Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, an Assistant Practitioner and a team of HCAs. We work alongside a friendly and dynamic team of GP partners and Associate GPs.
