Healthcare Careers and Development (HCCD) have an exciting opportunity for a “Customer Service Apprentice” . The post holder will be based at the Learning Hub a purpose built training centre on the Queen Elizabeth hospital site.

At the Learning Hub we deliver a range of employability-based programmes for local unemployed clients as well as hosting rooms for staff training. Your role will be to cover the reception area, greeting clients and dealing with queries both face to face, over the telephone and electronically via email. As the first point of contact, we are looking for someone who will deliver excellent customer service.

Your role will involve setting up training rooms ready for the day ahead, meeting and greeting clients and supporting the wider HCCD team with general admin tasks. As this is an apprenticeship role, you will also attend college to complete your qualification.

Interviews will be held on 11th August 2021

Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us; this will depend on the nature of the position and the circumstances of your offences.

Staff recruited from outside of the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.

Successful candidates will be automatically enrolled onto the Trust staff bank UHB+.
