An opportunity has arisen in the Seamoor unit for a Qualified Staff nurse to join the team.

We are a busy unit with a friendly and dynamic team, working Monday to Friday, delivering Chemotherapy and Medical Day Treatments to a large North Devon caseload. The seamoor unit provides excellent patient centred care, priding ourselves on fantastic patient feedback. We work closely with the Acute Oncology Service, Haematology service, Clinical Nurse specialists and the supportive services of The Fern centre.

The successful applicant will be trained to undertake complex assessments and deliver treatments safely. You will either be competent in Chemotherapy administration or be supported by our Lead Systemic Anti-cancer Treatment (SACT) Nurse Specialist and Senior Chemotherapy nurses to develop your skills and become a competent Chemotherapy Nurse.

Our ideal candidate will be looking for a fast paced but rewarding environment, with excellent team support. You will need to be able to prioritise your workload and be able to multitask, making on the spot situational assessments. You will be keen to develop your knowledge and skills. Ideally you will have some experience in nursing acutely unwell patients but we are open to applicants from all areas and backgrounds, including recently qualified nurses.
