The team is made up of nurses, psychologists, occupational therapist, consultant psychiatrist, junior medics, re-enablement support worker and healthcare assistants. They are all dedicated to provide the best care for our patients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the leadership team at Mulberry House. Mulberry ward is an adult in-patient ward. The ward is dedicated to high quality care. There is a big ethos of developing staff. You will be supported to continue your development whilst with us.

As a potential candidate you most demonstrate the following

  • Possess a RMN/RMNH qualification,
  • Possess excellent communication skills,
  • Be responsible for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
  • Be fully competent in the delivery of supervisions and PDR for junior staff
  • Possess strong managerial, motivational, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Preferably have inpatients experience at Band 6

The main roles of the post will be to take charge of the ward on a regular basis and act up in the absence of the ward manager. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will provide a positive clinical lead for junior staff. A mature manner and the exercise of confidentiality and discretion is also important.
