Are you looking to develop your career? But would like to maintain your excellent clinical skills as an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Specialist Palliative Care? Then, this might be the perfect job for you! 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for either a one-year secondment or one-year temporary contract due to impending retirement.

The hours are 08.30 – 5pm Monday to Friday with occasional Weekend or Bank Holiday cover.

As a Team Lead you will have responsibility for leading a team of experienced clinicians, acting as a resource, and providing guidance daily. You will also actively contribute to the development of this Specialist Service working closely with the Solent Management team embedded in Solent Specialist Services, Adults Portsmouth. Importantly the role encompasses direct patient contact in the community, often analysing complex situations, which can be highly rewarding.

We are looking for a highly motivated, committed, and reliable nurse to join The Solent Specialist Palliative Care Team. This well-established multi-disciplinary, integrated team provides the highest standards of clinical care to the patient and their family. We pride ourselves on providing excellent symptom management and emotional support, enabling patients to be cared for according to their preferences. The team values close working relationships with clinicians in primary, secondary and social care, as well as the local hospice provider.
