Advanced Clinical Practitioner Urgent Care

gtdhealthcare is seeking to improve the way people receive urgent and primary care, advice and treatment and are looking to recruit advanced clinical practitioners (ACP) to work within our Integrated Urgent Care centres within the Preston and Chorley locality. The role is deemed a key asset in ensuring patients are seen as quickly and safely as possible, in the right place and at the right time.

Our Integrated Urgent Treatment centres strive to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of the patients of Preston and Chorley and surrounding communities and you could be a key part in improving the patient journey for that population.

You will be provided an opportunity to work within a service that will contribute towards transforming how the local population accesses their healthcare. Furthermore, you will have a key role in the delivery of excellent clinical care and be a key member of the senior clinical team, identifying opportunities to innovate and work differently to meet the demands of the changing healthcare environment.

As an ACP working in the IUTCs you will be:

- Skilled in the delivery of urgent and primary care services in both minor illness and injury.

- Involved in the development of our services

- Be part of a dynamic team of clinicians and co-ordinators

- Support a range of patient services such as DVT clinic and virtual ward services

What are we looking for?

  • Registered professionals with a MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or working towards RCN Credentialing
  • Flexibility in working patterns to fulfil unexpected clinical requirements.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • V300 non-medical prescribing qualification (if you are about to embark on NMP training or currently undertaking NMP training we would still like to hear from you)

• Effective communication skills both on the phone, video and face to face

• Experience of working as part of a fast paced team

• Proven level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Desire to improve and initiate new services for patients
