Supply Chain Manager

Portsmouth Hospital University Trust are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Manager within our vital Procurement department. The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity to embed their ideas and excellent experiences to date within this established department. You will lead on the operational delivery of supply chain systems and processes; with given direction to your team to achieve highly cost effective / customer focussed and time critical services in support of front line patient focused services. The successful person will be responsible for developing a technology platform, operating practices,

processes and standards for both PHU and IOW ensuring full maximisation inventory and supply chain benefits for the Trusts translated into lowest ultimate cost of supply.

This is an important key position within the department; you will promote and develop key customer relationships identifying and interpreting dynamically changing customer requirements and translating into focused demand and supply strategies and inventory policy considerations ensuring Trust wide inventory policy. Previous NHS experiences will be hugely of benefit as you will be advising externally on best practice and how to develop and put in place advanced Inventory Solutions.
