We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and compassionate band 5 staff nurse to join our team on Hugh Squier Ward at South Molton Community Hospital.

Hugh Squier is a busy 16 bedded ward that is part of the medical division that has a highly competent and forward thinking MDT. We provide care for patients who require Rehabilitation, and for Older adults who have frailty and complex health needs. You will need to be highly motivated and passionate about caring for patients who are mostly older adults.

You will be supported by the ward manager and a new care of the elderly matron who will have overall responsibility for ensuring that patient care, safety and experience is at the highest standard. This is a part time post of 23 hours a week.

We provide support to avoid hospital admissions, and if an admission is necessary, we try to make each patient’s stay in hospital as short and effective as possible before working with them on a safe discharge home.

Our patients (through the Friends and Family Test) regularly report an average of over 95% satisfaction with our services.
