We are looking for a Chief People Officer who can lead and champion the delivery of our People Strategy into the next phase of our evolution following the challenges of the global pandemic. The Chief People Officer will build about the positive culture within Solent; with our HEART values at the core of everything we do. The Chief People Officer will be instrumental in leading strategies and plans which identify and develop the talents of all people so that we can attract and retain a diverse workforce and will continue to develop high levels of staff engagement and satisfaction to support the delivery great care.

As an Executive Director, the person will lead the development and delivery of the Trust Wide People Strategy and People Directorate, including the provision for Diversity and Inclusion, Occupational Health and Wellbeing, People Partnering, People Operations and Learning and Development.

As a system leader across Hampshire and IOW and nationally, the Chief People Officer will build relationships and networks to optimise collaborative working with other NHS Providers, Local Authorities and 3rd sector organisations.

The Trust provides services to diverse social, economic and cultural groups. You will have a good understanding of the needs of the different sectors of the community

This is a fantastic opportunity for a person who has highly developed leadership skills, who can work with ambiguity and can horizon scan, problem solve and lead with integrity and honesty.
