We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic HR Team Leader to join our established HR team.

  • Do you have experience of providing commercially focused HR advice to a growing and dynamic healthcare business?
  • Are you a membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD level 5 or above).

This permanent full time position and would be well suited to an individual that has worked at Senior HR Advisory level who is looking to gain further experience in the HR field and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Based within our HR department, you will work alongside another HR Team Leader in providing a high quality HR Service working closely with all areas of the business on all people matters. You must show resilience and the ability to manage your own workload effectively. Although you will be working as part of the wider HR Team; you need to be able to work autonomously. The successful candidate must have previous experience of providing complex HR advice at a senior level and building key relationships with all managers

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources you will be delivering a range of HR services across the organisation. You will be responsible for managing a small team of HR Advisors ensuring the effective delivery of HR provision and will participate in the delivery of the People & Culture Strategy and operational plan to ensure that the organisational strategic objectives are achieved. You will have demonstrable experience at senior HR Advisor level and a track record in providing a proactive client centered HR service that meets business needs.

Though there will be a strong focus on the HR element you will also have exposure to the full people agenda which involves Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Organizational Development, Data Analysis, People Development etc.

The role involves cross-site working across Nottingham City and travel to meetings throughout the week.

  • Have experience of providing complex employee relations case work advice at a senior level
  • Proven experience of managing complex change management processes
  • Have up to date knowledge of employment law / legislation
  • Have worked within a unionised environment
  • Have exposure to developing training packages from scratch
  • Have previous experience of managing, leading and developing a team
  • Have a real passion for people and creating a great working environment
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic small business
  • Be experienced in, and not fazed by, juggling lots of different projects at once
  • Be able to demonstrate your ideas and where you’ve been able to impact change
  • Have outstanding communication skills
  • Have strong time management and organisational skills
  • Be used to staying on top of the latest changes in law and legislation and ensuring all people processes/policies are aligned to the changes.
  • Have the ability to demonstrate impacts of initiatives that are put in place.
