Italk is a partnership between Solent Mind and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and is one of the largest Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services in the country providing Step 2 and Step 3 therapies respectively across Hampshire.

STEP 2 QUALIFIED PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING PRACTITIONER(S)

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week (Part Time Also Available Minimum 26 Hours/3.5 days Per Week)

Salary: £25,000 (Pro Rata) Per Annum

Location: Either Eastleigh (West Hub)/Gosport (East Hub)/Basingstoke (North Hub)

Interview Date: We will shortlist on a weekly basis and interviews will be scheduled in consultation with suitable applicants.

Applications from candidates who do not hold a Postgraduate or Degree Certificate in Psychological Therapies cannot be considered.

We are looking for Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner(s) to join our expanding team.

Our hard working and close-knit team is easy going, welcoming and fun with regular wellbeing groups and socialising. If you are interested in being part of an open, forward thinking and high achieving service and believe that you have the relevant skills and experience then this could be the opportunity for you!

This role involves delivering assessments as well as evidenced-based low intensity CBT interventions for those with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety disorders. The range of treatments you may provide would include one-to-one guided self-help via telephone, video and face-to-face in addition to cCBT programmes, webinars, workshops and psycho-educational groups.

We are proud to support our team in building their clinical skills and developing their own areas of interest and expertise. We offer regular additional training, monthly ‘Special Interest Groups’ and regularly offer opportunities to be involved in exciting projects.

You will need to be highly motivated and resilient to cope with the demands of working in this large, high volume service. Successful candidates will also need strong communication skills, professional telephone manner and excellent IT and organisational skills.
