Do you want an apprenticeship with a guaranteed Band 2 job at the end?

You will be enrolled with a local education provider, and will be required to complete the Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard within 12-15 months of starting. This is a 12 month training period, followed by up to 3 months to complete the End Point Assessment.

Throughout the apprenticeship you will be paid the National Living Wage at the 23+ rate (currently £8.91 per hour), regardless of your age.

On successful completion of the End Point Assessment, you will automatically be transferred to the Band 2 post and salary.

This opportunity will provide you with valuable experience and offer a strong foundation for a career within the NHS. We hope to appeal to candidates looking to start their career, those looking to re-skill in a new area of work, or those with a strong interest in joining admin within the NHS.

This role is based within our busy Antenatal clinic. This post covers a variety of tasks including but not limited to reception work, phone duties and making appointments in addition to data entry of registering new pregnancies on a national Database.

We are looking for a confident individual who is able to use their own initiative, has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with a flexible approach to work as this is a role with ad hoc demands.

The successful candidate will be accountable for their own workload following a buddy-up training plan, therefore we are looking to recruit someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, with the ability to take responsibility for the work they produce, with excellent time management.

Hours to be worked Monday – Friday, flexibility is needed to cover evening and weekend clinics on an ad hoc basis.
