Due to retirement and service expansion an opportunity has arisen for Non-Medical Prescribers to join our team at Tiverton Urgent Care Centre.

As part of the senior team, you will need to be experienced in the assessment and treatment of both injuries and illness in patients of all ages.

You will need to be comfortable to treat presentations which are considered an emergency/urgent as well as primary care. You will need to be experienced in making referrals.

You will need to be an experienced Non-Medical Prescriber and confident to prescribe to the local formulary.

We operate to an Urgent Treatment Centre specification with x-ray seven days a week, point of care testing, pre-bookable appointments and a fracture clinic.  We have an extensive range of PGDs and support from our onsite Doctor to promote excellent clinical practice. We need a competent and enthusiastic Non-Medical prescriber who can step up when it gets busy. The expectation is for autonomous practice and to see three cases per hour (condition dependant) ranging across emergency, illness, injury and primary care presentations.
