Surrey Downs Health and Care (SDHC)

Senior People Business Advisor

37.5 hours

Band 7

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a forward-thinking HR professional to join the HR team at Surry Downs Health and Care Community Services.

You will be an expert in HR and will use people management strategies to ensure the safe and sustainable delivery of services to the highest possible standards.

You will provide strategic, operational and business-focussed People Services service to all staff which includes People Services change design and delivery, workforce planning and development, employee relations, equality, diversity and inclusion plans, staff health and wellbeing, leading on staff development and training and identifying and maximising opportunities for transformation

You will need to be dynamic, resilient, and able to work independently. You will be able to work well in a team and to manage your own workload. You will be fully supported by the Head of HR & OD and will have management responsibility for the HR Resourcing Officer.

  • Previous experience of working in the NHS is essential and dealing with NHS terms and conditions is desirable. Management of organisational change and TUPE would be advantageous
  • The post will involve building and maintaining collaborative and productive working relationships with internal and external customers, colleagues, trade unions to establish professional credibility and maintain and expand the service provided.
