Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provide services from two main hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital, and a number of clinics across London and the South-East.

Both hospitals provide full clinical services, including full maternity, emergency and children’s, in addition to a range of community-based services across London, such as award-winning sexual health and HIV clinics.

Our facilities are some of the best in the country. We have been investing around £10 million a year in our estate. We are currently spending c. £25 million on expanding our adult and neonatal critical care facilities at Chelsea and Westminster and redevelopment of our children’s unit at West Middlesex – in partnership with our charity, CW+ and generous donors.

The Role

Clinical Trial Facility Manager, Band 8a

Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has placed research as a key objective and aims to become a leading research centre. The post of Clinical Research Facility Manager is a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the Trust in achieving this goal. The prime responsibility of the Commercial Research Facility Manager is to increase the volume of Commercial Research performed by the R&D team. To achieve this, the post holder will develop key links with Industry to attract more commercial work to the Trust.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will ideally possess the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of leading a team in operational environment
  • A proven track record of leading, engaging and developing cross functional teams
  • Ability to successfully manage and deliver multiple projects and improvements through change management/team engagement
  • An approachable, enthusiastic individual paired with an infectious attitude and passion to truly make a difference
