We are looking for part-time (18.75 hours per week) enthusiastic and motivated individual with proven leadership skills. You will supervise a small administrative team within the Single Point of Access (SPA) team for Children Additional Needs Service (ICAN).

The main duties of the team include receiving and managing referrals into the Integrated Children's Additional Need Service (ICAN), booking appointments for medical and therapy clinics citywide, applying clinical rotas onto the Patient Administration System (SystmOne), receiving and dealing with telephone enquiries from service users or professional staff involved with a child and family, photocopying etc.

You must be able to demonstrate experience of working in a busy office in a customer care environment. You should have good IT skills and experience of working to deadlines and multi-tasking as these skills are essential to the role. You should have some practical l eadership/supervisory experience and experience of monitoring/delegating tasks/duties within a small team.

Data Protection and Confidentiality are key elements of the role.

Qualifications held will include;

  • English & Maths GCSE - Level 9 to 4 or equivalent qualification/experience

  • NVQ level 3 Business Administration or Customer Care or equivalent qualification / experiene

The successful candidate will be professional, motivated, and flexible with a positive attitude to team work, change and service development.
