Our Commitment to you is to help you gain the level 2 apprentice standard in Customer Service within a 14 month contract. Hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £165 per week.

As part of the apprenticeship programme you will you will learn in the workplace, have access to study sessions, a mentor and a training provider. This is an excellent opportunity to earn while you learn. This post is ideal for someone who wants an understanding of an customer service role which will provide them with transferable skills.

We are looking to recruit an apprentice receptionist / administration assistant within the Leicester Biomedical research centre - Respiratory based at Glenfield Hospital.

The post holder will provide a point of access to respiratory research patients/families/carers and staff / visitors attending the department.

The post holder will provide reception and office administrative duties for the Respiratory BRC, including face-to-face contact with the public/clients, patients’ families/carers, medical staff, and other agencies; and receiving and dealing with all telephone enquiries which will require a friendly, professional and enthusiastic approach.

Supervision with be provided throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.

To qualify for the apprenticeship role the minimum criteria is:-

  • that you must have GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • have not completed an apprenticeship at the same level and sector in the past
  • do not have a Degree in a similar or same subject
